Low Calorie French Toast

2 cups egg whites
1/4 cup skim milk
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
12 slices whole wheat bread

Combine the egg whites, skim milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a bowl, and stir. Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture coating both sides.

Coat a griddle or large skillet with nonstick cooking spray, and preheat over medium heat. (If using an electric griddle, heat the griddle according to the manufacturer’s directions.)

Lay the bread slices on the griddle and cook for about 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Serve this low calorie french toast  plan or with low calorie sugar free maple syrup.

Servings – 6

Calories per serving – 250 (will vary with syrup selected)
